We pay the fare to go to La T and when we get there, the doctor is not there. There are too many people there. We need a doctor here too."

Maricela Olmedo has graduated from the assistant nurse training program. Congratulations Maricela! Once the health center is completed, Maricela will start providing care to the residents of Cristobal and the surrounding areas.

Molly O'Meara, the PeaceCorps volunteer who has worked in the community for the past two years, has completed her term and returned to the US. Molly has played a crucial role in the health initiative and has truly become a member of the community. We know that she will be sorely missed. THANK YOU MOLLY - YOU ARE AMAZING!
