About Ecuasana
EcuaSana is a non-profit organization incorporated in New York State in April 2008.
We believe that the most successful, effective, and sustainable health initiatives are those that:
● are community-driven
● ensure access to primary care and basic medical interventions
● emphasize prevention and health education
● empower community members, especially women
● work with local governance and make use of existing resources
● do not rely on outside support for continued existence
